Why writing great content is the key to success!

As you already know at this point, the entire Google algorithm is based on getting links from other websites. My program teaches you how to get those links on your own. However, a way to make this process easier is to make websites that will get links NATURALLY.

What do I mean by naturally? Basically, instead of asking for links from other websites and submitting articles to other websites with backlinks to your site (both of which are perfectly acceptable ways to get links, by the way), the idea here is that what you write on your websites is so useful and interesting, that other website owners will link to your site because they liked it so much (not because you asked).

Believe it or not, not everyone who makes a website has a financial purpose behind it! Some people make websites about their favorite topics or hobbies, and some of those people make money as a result, but that wasn’t their original intent. If what you write about your keyword is so useful and interesting that other websites naturally link to you, those are the best links you can get! They are coming from sources that are generally the toughest to get links from…other website owners that are growing their own sites. Websites with authority that are being cared for!

If you make sure that all the content on your websites is REALLY good, eventually you will shift from an uphill battle to a downhill battle. Why?

Because at first nobody knows your website exists and it’s getting no traffic, so you HAVE to manually build links to get it to rank. But once it starts to rank naturally and get more traffic, other website owners will notice it, like it, and link to it. This is the point when your job gets easier and your websites start to grow on their own. This is why eventually as your earnings go up, your work load goes down! Your traffic will grow because all the tough work is already done.

That is why I am a big believer in taking no short cuts in this business. If you take the time to make a website that has great content, at first it’s more effort, but in the long run the payoff is MUCH greater. This is because there will come a day when you can stop building links, but your website will produce those links naturally while you sit back and watch your income grow monthly.

If you make your portfolio of websites and then finally got them to rank with a lot of link building effort, but the quality of those websites is subpar, nobody is going to naturally link to them. You know what this means? Either you keep building links to them manually, or your rankings are going to stop growing, and eventually start to decline.

So do yourself a favor and think of this business as a long term investment. Put in good, solid work ONCE, and get paid for the rest of your life.

Work like a Slave to Achieve Results

Now, I know the title of my blog has the word “easy” in it, but the truth about Internet Marketing and making money online is that it takes a lot of work. Even if you are catering to work at home that is very niche specific, such as Christian Home Business Guide, it will still take a lot of hard work!

That being said, it is also a fairly straight forward process. In spite of all the crazy theories out there about how Google produces their results, and all the different factors that contribute to that, there are still only two main factors: good content and quality back links. If your page has those two things, it will rank well in the SERPs and continue to rank well.

So that begs the question, once you have great content, how do you get quality back links? Well, one way to do that is to submit original articles to some of the more powerful article directories, and get links back from them. Some of the more powerful ones worth noting are Ezine Articles, Hubpages, Squidoo Articles, and Infobarrel. Submit a handful of articles to each of those directories with links pointing back to your site and that would be a good start for your websites.

Another good move would be to ask other websites in your general topic area to link back to your site. You can offer to link back to their website in return as a sort of thank you. By doing this, both your website and his website will be strengthened. You can either ask for a single link from one their posts, or a blogroll link so you get a link from each one of their pages.

From there, check your rankings to see if you are at the rank you want to be for your keyword. If you are not, simple repeat the process. Remember, this whole thing is a numbers game. The more links you have with varied anchor text to your site, the stronger it becomes.

Once you have been working at this business consistently for a few years, you will need a letter organizer to keep all your checks coming in organized!

Search Engine Traffic is the Only Traffic That Matters

Yes, you read the title right! Search engine traffic is the only traffic that matters. Why? Because search traffic is always new and its very focused traffic. This means that people who visit your site from a search engine have an intent (hopefully to buy!).

This is different from traffic that comes from other blogs or social networking sites. Those people are usually passive web surfers reading stuff online. In other words, they have no intent to buy, and are much less likely to click on ad or purchase something. So even if you’re getting way more traffic due to your social marketing efforts, it still won’t translate to much more money.

The only traffic that really matters is search engine traffic, so you will be much better served directing your efforts there. So how do you start ranking well in Google? By building links and lots of them!

You want to make sure you have lots and lots of links pointing to your website from lots of different websites, with lots of different anchors. This will start to give your website authority with certain keywords, and so your website will start to rank. These links will also inadvertently give you lots of traffic from the links themselves, although that is not really that important. The importance here is from the rank you will start to achieve from those links.

Once you start generating steady traffic from your search engine rankings, it is time to see how you can best monetize that traffic.

While Adsense is a very hassle-free way to make money online, there is another (almost) hassle-free way to make money online. This one, however, can be much more profitable!

The method I am talking about is making money by selling e-books online through Clickbank. The beauty about selling an e-book is that you are essentially selling a file – no physical product is being sold. This means that every sale you make is essentially pure profit. Talk about a beautiful business model!

If you can find a topic that is not adequately covered online, and you think people would be willing to pay for that information, make an e-book for it! Then you can sign up for Clickbank, and they will set up the whole thing for you. All you need is your sales page and the e-book that you wrote, they’ll take care of the transaction part for you.

What is even cooler about Clickbank is that if you make an e-book, you can have other people sell it for you as well, and make a commission off of it. Google Adsense is one of the easiest ways to make money online, and it isn’t hard to see why. For those of you that have been living under a rock, Google Adsense has become one of the most sensational and profitable forms of advertising, and it is less than a decade old!

How it works is webmasters can install a bit of code given to them by Google on their website, and this code will read what the website is about.
